Care basics
The flag cichlid has a dark stripe running from the mouth to the tip of the dorsal fin. It is a calm, mid sized cichlid that often stays near plants in the upper water.
Keep it with angelfish, geophagus, apistos and peaceful tetras in a planted tank.
