Care basics
The Bolivian ram is a larger, hardier cousin of the German blue ram, with a yellow face and red edged fins. It is often recommended as a good dwarf cichlid for beginners who keep clean water.
Give it fine sand to sift, some plants and wood, and calm schooling fish swimming above.
